The $17 million program was initiated to reduce the amount of sewer overflows resulting from infiltration, exfiltration, and inflow within the county's system. Comprehensive Lateral Investigation Program was developed to evaluate the effectiveness of repairing public and private laterals to reduce Rain Dependent Infiltarion/Inflow, determine the associated costs to complete the necessary repairs, and identify any other issues that could impact implementation of a County-wide lateral repair program.
